FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you repair walls, roofs, or other structures after removal?

A: No. We safely remove bees and honeycomb but do not perform structural repairs. We recommend hiring a licensed contractor for repairs after hive removal.

Q: What happens to the bees after removal?

A: We relocate bees to a local beekeeper where they can continue to thrive.

Q: How do I know if I’ll be charged for honeycomb removal?

A: If bees have been present for more than a few days, they’ve likely started building comb. We’ll let you know after inspection and apply the appropriate add-on fee based on size.

Q: What should I expect after the removal?

A: It’s very common to see some straggler bees in the area after a removal. Without their hive, they will move on and will not remain there. However, it may take up to two weeks for them to fully disperse.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept cash, check, and digital payments (Venmo/Zelle). Payment is due upon completion of service.

Q: How quickly can you come out?

A: We offer same-day or next-day service whenever possible. During peak bee season (spring/summer), availability may be limited, so we recommend calling as soon as you notice bees.

Q: Will the bees come back after removal?

A: If honeycomb cleanup is performed, bees should not return. Without hive material, there is nothing left to attract them back.

Q: Can I spray the bees myself before you come?

A: We strongly advise against spraying bees with chemicals or water. This can make the removal process more difficult, scatter the bees, and increase aggression.

Q: Is it safe for my family and pets during removal?

A: Because most bees in Arizona are Africanized honeybees (which are highly defensive of their hives), and out of an abundance of caution, we highly recommend children, families, or pets to be outdoors during removal — and for the rest of the evening afterward. We recommend keeping everyone indoors and away from the area until the following day. Whenever possible, we perform removals in the evening to reduce bee activity and improve safety.

Q: What if the bees are in a very high or hard-to-reach place?

A: We can sometimes assist with higher locations, but we typically avoid extreme heights for safety reasons. If the hive is in an unsafe or unreachable location, we may recommend alternative solutions.

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes. We are fully insured for your peace of mind and protection.

Q: Do you guarantee your work?

A: We stand by our bee removal services. If bees return to the same spot within 30 days, contact us and we will re-inspect at no additional charge.
